Mrs. Hollis’s Kindergarten class at Orange Beach Elementary had “The Cat in the Hat” visit and read on Dr. Seuss’s birthday. They had many guest readers to help celebrate. They ate “green eggs and ham” (Green Eggs and Ham), made “ooblick” (Bartholomew and the Ooblick), decorated feet (The Foot Book), read with their eyes shut (I can Read with My Eyes Shut), sequencing (The Cat in the Hat), made postcards of places they would like to go (Oh, the Places You’ll Go!) and balanced apples on their heads (10 Apples on Top). It was quite a Seuss-tastic day.
