Fraction Pizzas Make Mathematics Delicious

Students in Ms. Amanda Powell's 4th grade class have been using food to help make Mathematics a mouth-watering topic. Students made fraction pizzas with ingredients provided at a discount by Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza Kitchen. Students worked in groups to create pizzas as examples of different fractions. The class has been learning equivalent fractions, simplest form and common denominators.  Thanks to Papa Murphy's for helping bring Mathematics learning a whole new perspective.
