Classroom Recycling Program Begins

Classes Compete in Recycle Bin Decorating Competition

The OBES Recycling Program began with a recycling bin decorating contest. Each class was asked to decorate a box with recycled items and information about the importance of reducing, reusing, & recycling. Students & teachers will use the recycle bins throughout the year to reduce the amount of garbage produced by our school.

Congratulations to Mrs. Rhonda Mosley's 4th grade class for winning first place & to Mrs. Jennifer Cardwell's 6th grade class for taking second place in the competition. Both classes received a special snack. Mrs. Mosley's class also enjoyed an out of uniform day. Great job to everyone who participated in the competition!
