Principal's Bio

I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve the community of Orange Beach.  After graduating from The University of Alabama with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, I began my teaching career in Tuscaloosa City Schools.  After leaving Tuscaloosa, I held teaching and administrative positions in Mobile County Public Schools, Vestavia Hills City Schools, Hoover City Schools, and Baldwin County Schools.  I received my M. Ed. in Educational Administration from Samford University in Birmingham.  My former positions were in Hoover and Elberta as Assistant Principal.

I have had the unique experience of working with children, teachers, and parents in diverse environments across the state of Alabama.  I believe that a child's successful education is the responsibility of the child, parent, educational professional, and community.  Everyone wants what is best for kids, and we must all work together to provide opportunities for kids to be successful.

My wife and I recently had our first child, Caleb.  When school is not keeping me busy, he does.  Caleb has made us very happy.

The new school year promises to bring excitement!
